Wham-O's Hula-Hoop

From Julie J – Mr. Pop – I found an old Hula-Hoop which makes a sound when it twirls with little balls inside. Did all the early Hula Hoops from the 1950’s have this? 

Mr. Pop History – Not the originals. Wham-O added the ball bearings as an alternative in 1967. The next Hula Hoop change came in 1982 and it offered barber-pole stripes containing granules that gave it a peppermint scent (remember scents in toys? – an early 1980’s phemon).
